Tulips!

I don't do near enough still life photography but my husband picked some of our first Spring Tulips to bring into the house so I could enjoy them and I couldn't resist taking a couple of shots as the light poured in through the window.  I planned to draw from one as a reference photo but I love them so much as they are I am now not sure.  The "vase" is also special.  My 9 yr old daughter picked out a salsa jar from the top of the garbage, cleaned it out, and started painting it.  I think she is always trying to beat her artsy older sister to the "good trash". ;)
